​A Cougar Shout Out to Kyle Valentine…  Kyle often drops by the art room to lend a helping hand over the lunch hour.  Whether it’s assisting with bulletin board displays or sharpening pencils, his kind help is always appreciated!

 
Music:
Attention all students:  The spring edition of the QMS Talent Show will be on Wednesday, June 19.  We are looking for all of your talents!  If you play an instrument, unicycle, sing, juggle, dance, you name it, we are looking for your talent.  Auditions will be next Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at lunch.  Please sign up for an audition outside of the music room.  
 
Sports: 
QMS Varsity Softball defeated Samuel De Champlain. Rachel McGee and Lauren Moore pitched a No Hitter. Avery Scichilone had 2 doubles for the offence along with Bailey Higgins driving in 2 runs in her birthday. Well done cougars!
 
Good Luck to the JV Girls softball team as they have a game today at Wells field – please be at the field for 4:00pm.
 
There will be a Pizza Party at lunch today-in the Tech Room-to celebrate the Volleyball teams and Flag football team. All uniforms should be passed into Mr. Long at break today!

Rainbows meeting today, during Period 3, in Mr. Mersereau's room.
 
Cougar Carnival will be Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm.  We are looking for student volunteers who could help out with games.  Sign up sheet is posted on the office window.
 
Best Buddies last activity of the 2018-19 school year is scheduled for Thursday, June 6th during Period 4. Please meet in the cafeteria after checking in with your period 4 teacher. You will be going to the field to play games and enjoy the sun.  Please see Mrs. Anderson if you have any questions.
 
Outstanding Library books are all due today. Fines will be issued for any books not returned, beginning Monday.  Please see Mrs. Johnson in the library if you have any questions or concerns.
 
Mme Spinks is still looking for a photo of each of the grade 8s to include in the slide show. Parents are asked to send in ONE close up photo of their child at a toddler/preschool age. Digital pics can be sent to Shawna.spinks@nbed.nb.ca and a printed copy can be handed in to her in the office, it will be scanned and returned. Whether digital or printed, please be sure to include the name of the student. Deadline to submit phots is Friday, June 7th.
